“Colección de Fanzines Tinta y Sangre” (Fanzines Collection by Tinta y Sangre) is a book containing the five fanzines published by Tinta y Sangre from 2018-2020. The fanzine is a tool of information that was utilized in Mexico City during the 80’s and 90’s by punk anarchy and other underground movements where tattooing took place. The Tinta y Sangre fanzine comes from the necessity to share the very rich culture of Mexican tattooing to the rest of the world.
The individual fanzines, just as the book of collections of fanzines, is crafted in a 100% hand made, artisan process. This preserves the spirit of self-sustainability born in the magnificent works of the 80’s. Due to the effort put into trying to reach a beautiful level of craftsmanship and quality, the result is pure authenticity presented in each book.
The contents within these books are a small example of the culture of Mexican tattooing. Filled with history, stories, personalities, historic photographs, and other inputs from its community.
This beautiful book is a direct reflection of the inventiveness of a guild which never stopped struggling to be accepted by Mexican society.

"Colección de Fanzines Tinta y Sangre" es un libro que contiene los 5 números de los fanzines publicados por la editorial Tinta y Sangre del 2018 al 2020. El fanzine es una herramienta de información utilizado en la Ciudad de México en los años 80 y 90 por los movimientos anarco-punk y otros movimientos underground marginales donde el tatuaje se movía. El fanzine Tinta y Sangre nace de la necesidad de compartir la riquísima cultura del tatuaje en México y el mundo.
Los fanzines como el libro de colección de fanzines es realizado en un proceso totalmente artesanal, cuidando de preservar el espíritu de autogestión nacido de aquellos magníficos trabajos de los años 80, tratando de lograr un bello trabajo que por la propia naturaleza de su fabricación cada uno de los libros es auténtico.
El contenido de estos libros es una pequeña muestra de la cultura del tatuaje mexicano, historia, personajes y sus aportes a la rica cultura del tatuaje mexicano, historias de viejos tatuadores mexicanos y sus aportes al gremio.
Es un bello libro lleno de imágenes y fotografías históricas y de la inventiva de un gremio que jamás dejó de luchar por ser aceptado por la sociedad mexicana.
