Bold Will Hold collects more than 500 pieces from Italian tattooer Samuele Briganti - tattoos, painted plates, flash, sketches and linework from over fifteen years of work. The title comes from the name of his shop in Florence.
Briganti is one of the few European tattooers to put a recognizable personal stamp on traditional: flat, two-dimensional designs, heavy outlines and a palette built mainly on yellows, deep reds, dark green and black. The 304-page hardcover, edited by Miki Vialetto, is arranged in themed chapters - animals, daggers, skulls, the sea and more - so you can see how he handles each classic subject across many variations, from snarling panthers and gorillas to clipper ships and Mom hearts.
For traditional tattoo artists, this traditional tattoo flash book shows how to keep the classics bold while still making them your own. This is the definitive collection of Samuele Briganti's work to date.
