The Lettering Book grew out of the lettering seminars Dave Gibson taught at tattoo conventions around the world. He passed away in 2019 before finishing it, and Geo Rogers and Patrick Kitzel completed the project from his original manuscript and text, leaving it in his own form. It walks through letter construction, stroke order and flourishes, making it one of the few true tattoo lettering books built from a working tattooer's teaching.
