Volume 3 is the last book in Sam Collins' Bangers & Flash series and rounds out the set of three. It follows the same proven layout of full-color traditional tattoo flash with a matching line drawing for each design, and adds sketches and a few how-to sections showing how Collins constructs his work.
This time the book is organized into sections: animals, big cats, birds, flowers, girls, devils, skulls, daggers, nautical and a run of miscellaneous designs. Inside are tiger heads, clowns, eagles with breakdowns of wing structure, a page of cats and a sheet of frogs, all drawn with the bold, readable style the first two volumes are known for.
Like the earlier books it's a 128-page, 6.25" x 8.5" hardcover made for daily use at the station. Owners of Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 will want it to complete the run, and it stands on its own as a traditional tattoo flash book for anyone new to Sam Collins. A discounted DING & DENT copy is sometimes available.
