The first Come to Me All became a standard reference for religious tattooing, and this second volume expands it considerably. The 272-page hardcover collects historical religious prints, with more than 80 pages of Jesus imagery and more than 85 pages devoted to the Virgin Mary.
The rest of the book covers saints, crosses and other devotional images, including Saint Michael, nuns and a range of figures rendered in black and grey. Old prints like these are a rich source for tattooers: they show how faces, drapery, halos and light were handled by printmakers, and they translate well into black and grey work.
For artists doing religious tattoos, it's a deep and well-organized tattoo reference book that covers the most requested subjects in one place. Collectors of devotional imagery will appreciate it as well. Volume 1 is also available.
