This is a cosmetically blemished copy of Late of the Guards: Tattoo Designs by Ben Corday, sold at a discount. It was a display copy with a price sticker, the edges show slight wear, and it is missing its dust cover. The contents are complete.

The book is a facsimile of the sketchbook in which Ben Corday, the Scots Guardsman turned Los Angeles tattooer, painted 45 tattoo designs around 1918. It's a compact, faithful way to study his clean lines and bright palette.

Collectors who want the full presentation should look at the full-price copy.
