Alix Ge's volume in the Gentlemans Classics series is a 152-page hardback of line drawings and sketches, packed from cover to cover. It is the third book in the range, which sets out to give tattooers usable reference in the classic styles.

The subject list is broad: dragons, cats, hannya, geisha, fish, and flowers, plus octopuses, ape heads, girl heads, and spiders built from lady, dragon, and demon heads. Many ideas are drawn several times over, showing how one concept can be pushed in different directions.
