Monsterama #6 is the first issue of Allan Graves' horror zine printed in full color from cover to cover. Graves, an illustrator and tattoo artist, builds each issue around classic monster movies, old horror magazines, comics and tattoo art, and this one packs more than 1,000 images into 100 pages.
Original illustrations by Graves and other artists sit alongside vintage material: monsters, ghouls, creatures, cult horror and a steady run of retro oddities. Seeing this kind of imagery in color for the first time in the series makes it far more useful as reference, whether you are working out a palette for a horror piece or just looking for ideas.
Good for tattooers who draw horror, for collectors of vintage ephemera, and for anyone who likes the strange and spooky. Earlier issues, including Monsterama #1 and #2, are also available.
