This is a cosmetically blemished copy of Cliff White's Flash from the Bowery: Classic American Tattoos, 1900-1950, discounted because the corners of the hardbound sleeve are damaged. The book inside is unaffected and every page is intact.
It is the same 400-page collection of original acetate rubbings from Charlie Wagner's Bowery shop, the Black Eye Barbershop, believed to be the only surviving art from that shop. Over 900 pieces of vintage tattoo flash cover nautical themes, Asian imagery, flowers, boxers, circus characters and girls.
