Louis Perez III's 2020 flash set is 12 loose 11" x 14" sheets, every design drawn entirely in blue ballpoint pen and printed on heavy 110lb paper. It was released as a short run of 50 sets.

Working in ballpoint gives the sheets a fine, textured shading that looks nothing like painted flash, while the designs remain clean enough to tattoo straight off the wall. Hang them in the shop and they work as both decoration and a menu for walk-ins.

For tattooers, a single tattoo from these sheets can cover the cost. For collectors, it is an affordable way to own a limited set of tattoo flash from an artist with an unusual medium. It is the first in a series that continued with the 2022 and 2024 sets.
