Louis Perez III came back two years after his first set with another run of tattoo flash sheets. The 2022 set is 12 loose 11" x 14" sheets, every design drawn entirely in blue ballpoint pen and printed on heavy 110lb paper.

The ballpoint technique gives the flash a distinctive look, with fine shading and texture built up line by line rather than with paint or marker. The sheets are ready to hang on a shop wall, and the designs translate directly to the skin for walk-ins.

Tattooers get a set of flash that can earn its cost back quickly, and collectors get original-looking sheets from an artist whose ballpoint work stands apart. It also sits in a run with the 2020 and 2024 sets, so collectors can follow how the series has developed.
