Wonderful Flash is a 100-page softcover of traditional line drawings by Danny G. There's no color and no filler: every page is outline work, which makes it a practical source of tattoo outlines you can trace for a stencil, adapt for a client, or study to tighten up your own linework.
The subject matter is classic traditional with some ambitious set pieces mixed in, from a lady head framed by a flower-covered horseshoe to battle scenes of dragon, snake and eagle and of panther versus snake. Because the drawings are uncolored, it's easy to see how the composition and line weights carry each design.
It suits tattooers at every stage: experienced artists who want a quick, clean reference at the station, and newer tattooers who are still learning how traditional designs are put together. Danny G followed it with a second volume, and the two are also offered together as a set.
